Rye Chocolate Chip Cookies. Lightly grease (or line with parchment) two baking sheets. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Using a stand mixer with paddle attachment or large bowl and a hand mixer beat the butter and dark brown sugar until a paste is formed. Add egg, molasses, and vanilla extract; beat until thoroughly combined. In a large bowl, combine the sugars, butter, salt, vanilla extract, and baking soda, beating until smooth and creamy.
Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the brown sugar, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, and baking soda until smooth and creamy.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper, and set aside. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar to the cooled brown butter. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners.
